There are 3 recommendations I have for anyone wanting to read up on any particular Sunday, Celebration etc. of the Liturgical Year. One is a long concise book, one is a five book set and the final is a 15 book set where each mass is meticulously set out.
The first is “Goffine’s Devout Instructions on the Epistles and Gospels” by Reverend Father Leonard Goffine, copyright 1896 by Benziger Brothers, New York.
