One subject forgot in my listing of good books to read was the subject of Grace. The best book I have found so far on Grace is the book “The Catholic Doctrine of Grace” by G.H. Joyce, S.J. It was Published by the Newman Press in Westminster, Maryland in 1950. Nihil Obstat: J. Jarvis … Continue reading Books on Grace
Books on the End Times – Eschatology

Books Considered Catholic Classics
Not sure if some of these classics in the original language have approbations but the only ones that I have that do are The imitation of Christ, The Summa Theologica, The Catholic Controversies, and The Soul of the Apostolate. The others are either translations by well known catholic writers of the early 20th century (in… Continue reading Books Considered Catholic Classics
Book on the Miraculous Medal
The temptation of many to become superstitious about helpful sacramentals like this forces me to be very cautious with regard to reading material. This small pamphlet carries a Nihil Obstat approbation and is “The Central Association of the Miraculous Medal Membership Booklet.” It can be reached at 475 E. Chelten Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19144, to… Continue reading Book on the Miraculous Medal
The People Who go to Hell Will Create its Horrors, not God.
This is a reposting of one of my earlier blogs to emphasize my opinion that, though hell exists, and in my opinion, possibly a lot more horrible than what Christ describes (Mark 9:47-49), is not created by God but by the depravity of its inhabitants with their broken nature, which could… Continue reading The People Who go to Hell Will Create its Horrors, not God.
Salvation in the Church

Publisher : CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform (September 30, 2011) Language : English Paperback : 72 pages ISBN-10 … Continue reading Salvation in the Church
LOVE, the Easter Message and Marriage
Being that Easter week is when I’m actually writing this, among other things, I want to send a few notes about love and God’s love in particular. When I was younger my father always said he did not mind doing things for me and my mother and I thought he might have been exaggerating at… Continue reading LOVE, the Easter Message and Marriage
Review of the Animated Movie the King of Kings
Review of the Animated Movie the King of Kings I think it was around passion Sunday that I watched the Animated feature film “The king of Kings: A Story Told by Charles Dickens” at a movie theater. It was set in a Victorian house of a man telling his young son a story. It switched… Continue reading Review of the Animated Movie the King of Kings
Easter Sunday
Wrote this early, as I do a lot of my posts, and will probably attend midnight mass. This is to remined us of the importance of Easter Sunday. On this day, the human race was saved by Jesus Christ, after being convicted of the original sin of Adam and Eve against the all-good God the Father, and given the promise that the punishment that the human race inherited from its first parent’s original sin (both the spiritual damage to our souls that made humans tend toward evil and the eternal punishment of hell) would be not only forgiven, but all those who loved and obeyed His Son would be made adopted sons and daughters of God.
On this day God the Son the second person of the blessed Trinity rose from the dead after 3 days in the grave proving He was God and had the power to deliver on His promise of eternal life and sonship and daughtership to God the Father (the first person of the blessed Trinity), with the help of the Holy Ghost (the third person of the blessed Trinity) humans that would follow his commandments and love God as they aught with their whole being.
Easter Sunday, A Reason Why Sunday is the New Sabbath, a Day We Must Keep Holy thru Mass
Went to mass last week, Passion Sunday (like I do every Sunday, this Sunday being Palm Sunday) to render God the honor due him every week for creating us and to offer the only sacrifice worthy of God, the Eucharist where the Second Person of the Uncreated God is offered, really to himself for humans… Continue reading Easter Sunday, A Reason Why Sunday is the New Sabbath, a Day We Must Keep Holy thru Mass
