Review of the Animated Movie “Migration”

This seemed to be a pretty tame PG (which it recieved for action/peril and mild rude humor) movie, 1 hour and 32 minutes in length, without too much controversy, and basically a commentary on being brave, taking risks and the fact that there is some danger to stepping out of your comfort zone as well as the neighborhood you with familiar area and you must be alert to avoid getting into trouble. The main characters, a duck family, gets over their trepidation, or more precisely the father’s trepidation to leave there pond where they have always been, to migrate south, they encounter, along with natural dangers, mainly a cook obsessed with eating them when after a first chance meeting they free his prize exotic bird. Mild violence while the cook tries to kill them. It seemed to avoid, as far as I could see, most of the woke baggage so prevalent in recent Disney animations.

It got a lack luster review which you can see at https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/migration-movie-review-2023, but got a rotten tomatoes audience score of 87%.
